I’m Only a Little Obsessed….

SUPER UNDER RATED GROUP RIGHT HERE

Are you looking for a new group to Stan? Looking for Bouncy pop hits, cool R&B sounds, ballads sweet as can be, and some club pumping bass heavy hits? OnlyOneOf has it all! They are the first boy group from 8D Creative and debuted in May of 2018. This was my second time seeing them live, and I was saddened to see the venue was smaller and not completely sold out! These 6 have SO much talent and it baffles me why they aren’t more well loved! Melrose Ballroom in Brooklyn was a cute venue but I really hope they can get back to doing larger venues.

The group’s leader Nine is also the Maknae, which is kinda cool because we rarely get that! He is sweet and has an infectious laugh. KB is an all rounder- vocalist, rapper, visual, and a total comedian; sometimes it feels more like a stand up show than a concert and he LOVES to hype us up. Rie was sadly enlisted in military, but last year his vocals were to die for. Yoojung is another voice to watch out for and I was so glad he stood near my side of the stage a lot. Junji reminds me SO much of Mingi from ATEEZ- dances and has fun but also kinda jams out to his own thing during Ments and it was super cute. And Mill is not only a main vocalist but also a main rapper (with a DEVILISH smile). Nine and Mill also starred in Bump up Business together which was a super cute Kdrama.

They have a series of solo songs that are shot in pairs- showing two sides to the same relationship and it doesn’t matter how many times I watch them I think the concept is SO cool- a must watch for sure. They also have a lot of sexy concept songs which I can’t deny loving. Back to the actual concert review….

I am thankful I got the lightstick ahead of time because merch consisted of super simple shirts I didn’t care for and Photocard packs (which I bought 2 of). Sadly ticket sales were not amazing (I heard a lot of fans were boycotting because the tour company being used is shitty… but I decided to go to support the boys!) and so they were selling VIP perks like group photos or individual snapshots- so I bought one with Nine (which would be my first time getting a picture with an idol and had me NERVOUS). We also met a super sweet fan in line and adopted him into our group (thanks for joining the chaos Danny!)

Sound system was being temperamental but that didn’t stop them from being unreal, ethereal, beautiful, and showing us their raw talent for singing, rapping, and dancing. I have SUCH a great time watching them and hope so much that they become bigger! Their songs are addicting and I’ve now been listening to them non stop for the week following the concert- I’ll post video links below so get yourself hooked!

Oh and did I mention we were THIRD ROW? (also pictured is a group photo booth shot from the mall prior to the concert with the Hoshi x Woozi 96ers concept- had to include it for my Carat heart!)
